There are several reasons you may need to restore the Breeding Management system database:

• Follow the crop-specific tutorials with preloaded example data.
• Move data between computers.
• Restore "lost" data from damaged, stolen, or lost computer.

From under Program Administration, choose Backup and Restore Program Data. Browse to the backup file (.sql), select open, and Preform Restore. 

Be careful during restoration not to overwrite existing data. Selecting Restore will overwrite the contents of the existing program. We recommend establishing a separate program to practice tutorials, since the tutorials often require restorations that would overwrite "real" breeding data.
